Perfect recovery from flights with 3 young children

We stayed at Holiday Fashion Inn after flying into columbo late at night, and needed somewhere to rest after airport travel. This is the perfect little spot in Negombo. Location is a 10, It's close to the main beach, short walk to restaurants, tuk tuks to explore further. Negombo beach gave us our first taste of Sri Lanka, it was bustling and busy and so wonderfully exciting. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children, the two bedroom apartment was perfect and the pool kept the children entertained for hours. The owners are kind and so helpful. The room was spotless, the breakfast was great.

We stayed 3 nights at the HFI and booked a 4th night because we felt so at home there. The family running it is super friendly, especially our 7month old son loved them. If you ask for help, everybody gives good advises anytime. You are welcomed every morning with a fresh Juice, fresh fruits, eggs and sausage, toast and Gelee, and sometimes sri lankan breakfast variants, ...and a smile from the owners. Our room was clean and modern and the hotel is situated at a very central point, 200m from the beach. We can recommend the Holiday Fashion Inn to 100%.

Fantastic owners

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived after a long flight at 6 in the morning. Airport pickup was arranged by the owners, early checkin was available for 1$ per hour, and an extra breakfast was arranged as wel. The family apartment was spacious and very clean. A nice place to acclimatise before our travel begins. Real value for money. We stayed with a family of four.

Lovely place but it was pity the issue with the money happened at the end.

The staff were really nice and the women working was so friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the pool was lovely.

The hotel was very quite but I think that could be due to low season as the whole city seem this way. Only issue I had was when I was checking out, I was getting my taxi to the airport and the lady decided to tell me I needed to pay. They had no card machine and they didnt know how much I needed to pay. They kept changing the prices from 35,000 to 30,000 and I think I got overcharged but I just had to pay it because I was gonna be late for my flight.
