The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

A microwave in a room or in a common area with an ice machine would be helpful. Creamer sachets for coffee and sugar sachets should not be bundled in a single packet, any unused item should not be wasted.

I like the location thats it

Parking was super tight, barely fit car. Elevator didnt even fit more than 3 people and there was only 2 for whole building. Room smelled.

Superb

My stay in the hotel was great , if I visited vancover again I can stay in the same hotel.

The location was great, close to all facilities you look for at the heart of the city, The break fast was good, but daily the menus are the same , my children liked the swimming pool so much .

We experienced Bad attitude from one staff mainly in the Restaurant she is Chinese or Filipino background, I think she needs to learn how to treat customer services fairly and nicely and with respect no one there coming to beg her. We also experienced an excellent services and so nice character from the staff called Jenifer at the hotel desk She is really an awesome.

The room looks old, we went to swim into the pool and the water was good but the temperature in the room was incredibly cold

good location but thats it, rooms , cleanliness is so so ,and can be noisy

location was good since it was in downtown and had a driveway for people to pick you up and was 15min walk to skytrain from airport

housekeeping just opens the door at 8am without knocking and if they knocked it was faint and they didnt knock long enough, its odd they would do this at 8am not 10am. further i asked housekeeping if they changed the sheets, and they answered they only change the sheets once every 5 days. and when she asked if i wanted it changed, i said yes and she declined because i was not checking out yet, politely complained to male manager( seems like the GM) , he answered a question with another question do you change the sheets at your home everyday? its rude and uncalled for. This manager is not suitable for a holiday inn. we are paying daily for a HOTEL and this should be the Option of the Guest not a matter of policy. you may suggest a more eco friendly option but it should be the guests DECISION not a hotel policy to NOT CHANGE SHEETS for 5 days. defending a housekeeping attendant for a mistake in their response while being rude to a guest who has a genuine concern is not noble, it shows lack of training and wrong attitude of senior management . its a totally unprofessional behaviour for a holiday inn manager. apologising and promising to correct would have been the more educated thing to do. this response and behaviour of hotel senior staff is NOT good hospitality , especially their attitude trickles down to their rank and file staff.this manager is more suitable to be school principal but unfit for the service industry. You suddenly feel that a customer needs to please them instead of the other way around, how strange. on weekends this property is noisy drunk kids in the lobby, and you can hear people running outside the room and even outside on street. sound proofing not good . this is an honest opinion , and a rarely experienced situation for a frequent traveller like me .

It was excellent the staff and the hotel

The staff was friendly, the Hotel was in a good lactation.

The pool was too far and not easy to find. It was located on corner of the hotel. Theres no hot tub or team bath. The room has no microwave to use it.
