Cozy, lovely views and great location.

It was extremely cozy with lovey views of a beautiful garden, felt very homely and great location.

Shower was impossible to use, lots of creepy crawlers but other then that it was perfect.

Nice lil stay

It was very clean and tidy. The area is as described in photos, Was nice and quiet. We had milk, tea, coffee small wine and beer in fridge we didn't drink those brought our own. Towels provided. We did use the oven and microwave on one night with no issues. It was just a last min getaway just the two of us. Was nice waking up to the sounds of birds. The odd morning bark from the ole pup didn't bother us, Area was well lit enough after we came back from our meal at the pub in the dark. The hosts where on the other end of the phone if we needed them. we were pretty much left to our own devices. Which suited us. There are menu and brochure for places to eat or visit. We were happy enough to want to visit again.

Being a tall couple using the shower was a lil challenge. But you can see why as ceiling is low we can see it can't be placed higher. Only option there would be to put in a detachable head not a fixed one maybe. Bed we discovered tips back a lil at the head end so we added a blanket under the pillows. So maybe option of extra pillows in wardrobe to compensate. But we still slept well it didn't ruin our stay in any way and we would visit again.

Falsely advertised as lodge. More like refurbed shed in garden!

Nothing. Very cramped and claustrophobic!

We were numerous times to make sure we were out by 10.00 am on 2nd day as they had people booked. We hadn't even arrived the first time we were told! Were told his wife had to take time off to clean at 10.00 on day 2. (Not our problem). Didn't feel welcome. Owner kept hovering around outside in his garden and spent all evening mowing a huge lawn, preventing us from sitting there. Owner spent remainder of evening dining in his garden sitting facing our bedroom window and balcony outside so we had to draw curtains. Dog kept barking at us each time we set foot outside and cbased us back in. We had to walk up a pathway to a bench to be able to smoke rather than just stand outside our lodge in garden area. Shower was so low we had to bend over double to wash our hair. Kitchen tap didn't work and was very stiff dripping all night.Very wobbly bed with expired mattress cobwebs overhead. We felt we were at our parents house!!
