    Excellent location. Very central in the old town. The 2 ladies in reception were exceptional- very friendly and helpful. We prebooked parking - that was so worth doing. We were given a lockable garage just up from the hotel which was extremely handy. The bedroom and bathroom were good sizes and clean. Our bedroom was on the third floor (there is a lift) and a little cool but there were extra blankets in the wardrobe. There was a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. We would absolutely stay here again.
    There was really very little to not like. If I was going to be fussy the breakfast is variable - it was excellent the first morning, but on the second morning there was 1 croissant, 1 pain au chocolat, a few bits of bread and some cold crepes. None of the fruit juice, fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs etc from the previous day but I suspect the hotel was quiet and the night staff felt it wasnt worth putting out. Either way it wasnt worth 14 a head! As soon as there was a change of shift I have to say the lovely lady in reception noticed and quickly found us juice, ham and cheese which was kind and rectified the situation.

    Good location - walkable to all that we wanted to see.
    Not the hotel's fault but tourism info on web badly out of date eg closure of St Malo museum in 2019.
