Superb

Basic hotel with an excellent location for a short stay.

Location was outstanding. And we really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were a little spartan, and it would have been nice to have carpeting on the floors. The rooms felt cold in the welcoming sense.

Perfect for early flight

Excellent location for early flight - trolleys available in hotel and walk to terminal completely inside (under cover) terminal one is closest, but two is only a 7 minute walk. Comfortable hotel, good staff, blockout curtains, good size room Taxi from Zurich historical centre was 75

I found my bed slopes to the edge - mattress needs replacing.

Would recommend this hotel

The location is good, although it was a distance from the train station, about 10 - 20 minutes walk, you can take the tram No 4, which stops at the hotel with a short walk. The breakfast we decent and the staff were fantastic and very helpful.

The room is quite small for two guests.

Affordable stay at clean and comfortable hotel in good location

Great value for Zurich. Larger king bed was comfortable. Heating good. Good breakfast with great hardworking staff. Extremely clean hotel.

Overall great - an older hotel so rooms and lift are small, but refurnished and bathrooms look new- just not much room with a big suitcase as racks too small. A kettle in the room would be good or one on the floor drinks station.

Very clean and great value hotel in good location

Great location in old town with lots of restaurants and short walk to train station. Very clean. Affordable when most hotels in Zurich are expensive. Includes reasonable breakfast - the staff work very hard in breakfast area.

On our first stay in small queen room the mattress was getting a bit old and uncomfortable, but on a second stay the king room bed was much better, so pay more for bigger bed. Bathrooms very small but new and clean. Not having a kettle in the room - you can get hot water at reception but one lift is very slow.

I can recommend Hotel Alexander Zurich old town.

Location is very good. There is a friendly atmosphere at the hotel.

The sleeping pillows were uncomfortable.

Awesome experience. Breakfast, location and personnel were fabulous.

We couldn't have had a better experience with their location and breakfast. Room was a bit small, but considering Zurich standards, it was not bad at all.

WE liked everything about this property.
