Great location, better popsicles!

Location was great, right next to Kyoto Station. So it's more of a city vibe than other places in Kyoto but still in a charming neighborhood. Staff was friendly. Having an on-site onsen was a unique perk. Clean. Free popsicles (ice candy) downstairs, which was my favorite thing about it. I recommend the blue. Overall spa vibe at the hotel.

The overall spa vibe of the hotel did not quite carry over to the room, which was more basic/business. We stayed in both smaller and larger hotel rooms throughout our trip. Probably the least in-room amenities of the places we stayed, in terms of little extras. The mattress/pillows were maybe closer to a ryokan style than other hotels we stayed at, though the bed itself was western. These are only really "complaints" in direct comparison to other hotels, really nothing negative about our experience.

Close to train and very clean

Absolutely loved this hotel! Its proximity to the train station was super convenient, the spacious room with hardwood floors gave it a modern and clean vibe. The inclusion of an air filter and humidifier was a thoughtful touch, especially with the dry air definitely a place I'd choose for my stay again.

Vert nicely designed hotel.The rooms were nicely done up with a modern feel with all typical amenities provided.There is also a convenience store right next door.

Very nice value close to Kyoto Station.

The location near the train station is convenient and there are many restaurants in the area. Rooms are small but comfortable. I liked the breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. The Japanese bath is great. The staff were attentive, helpful, professional.

We will be back !

It has got washing machine amenities at the ground floor and free popsicles while waiting. The service level and attitude of the staff were definitely commendable! We have issues transferring our luggages from Kyoto to Osaka and staff definitely went over their scope to help us. Appreciate very much .

We had 3 beds in the room so space was rather tight for us to open our luggages to pack.
