Superb

If youre in Southwestern Portugal. Visit Luz!!

Just up the hill from beach front with balcony views of pool and Atlantic Ocean. Luz is a beautiful town. Prettiest town at the beach front we visited in Portugal and Spain.

It was very hard to find, especially in the dark. Directions and gps brought us to the beachfront. Called the hotel and received directions but still had a hard time finding the property.

Glorious stay.

This grand hotel sits aloft with fantastic views and charm and grace. Staff were awesome and friendly. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and we had a very fine dining experience at the restaurant at night. Highly recommend this hotel.

We liked our room, which was clean. However, we were slightly disappointed that there was only 1 comfortable armchair in the room.

We did appreciate that the catering was contracted out, but we have never stayed in a 4 star hotel when the tables for breakfast are not laid, meaning we had to collect the necessary crockery and cutlery.

Pleased with our choice of hotel

Everything was great. Very good breakfast. Room very clean. Great balcony which was in the sun all day. Nice staff. We didn't have dinner as we were enticed by the Indian restaurant 100 m away, which was excellent.

No complaints as such. Maybe bar/restaurant area could benefit from a refurb, which I believe is happening when the hotel closes for a few months.

Nice - more fruit more bread a la german like.

There were nothing - Food at the pool was allright but not great -and the wine could be better.

Very good

The hotel was very nice and quiet. The algarve is very busy city this is in a quiet neighborhood. Can walk to town for fun, food and grocery. The restaurant at the hotel is really good and good value.

Some of the staff was not so helpful but the rest was very good

This lovely little hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.

Balcony, pool, and view were exceptional. Spotless facility with excellent value. Friendly staff, poolside bar, and full cooked breakfast weer standout features

Refrigerator in room would have been an added bonus.
