Exceptional

We had a fantastic relaxing short stay.

It was an excellent location because we wanted peace and quiet, its very convenient for the 120 bus to Benalmadena marina where there a lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It was spotlessly clean,with a wonderful view and excellent breakfast.

The prices for drinks in the bar, 22 for two beefeater gins with tonic. It seems excessive

Overall, a very pleasant holiday..

Late, daily cleaning of our room, and on one day our room was not cleaned at all. Our fridge was not cleaned out on our arrival to our room.

Hotel is nice, you get what you pay for.

The room was a decent size, good size balcony facing the sea with two chairs and a table. Bathroom with a bath/shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, however they were very busy, I felt sorry for them. Gym was ok. Pools were good, mini golf and table tennis on site was a nice touch. Most people had all inclusive and seemed to enjoy it. There is a shop down the road and the renfe train is a short walk away.

It was very busy and there were queues for everything. There was generally only one bar staff at each bar and they were extremely busy. The breakfast was only ok, an alright selection but it was alright for the money we paid. There isnt much around the area, there is a pizza place down the road and a shop beside it but other than that not much around. The train is up a hill but close enough. The gym is small and there wasnt cleaner most days to wipe down the machines or water some days. The seating area by the adult pool is a few loungers inside a wall near the beach, the family pool has more loungers and a bar. The roof area/bar closed while we were there for the season. The lobby was always busy with people sitting around and having a few drinks at the lobby bar.

Exceptional

Brilliant all inclusive stay

Really great - we stayed all inclusive. Decent selection of drinks available within all inclusive. We were an adult group but preferred the family pool over the adult only one as better atmosphere. Entertainers were brilliant and made our trip so much more enjoyable. Room was lovely and good selection of food in the buffet.

A nice relaxing week in a quiet location

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Food was nice and the buffet restaurant has a beautiful view over the sea.

The pool was freezing so my children wouldnt go in it. Meal times could have started a bit earlier, particularly if you have children. The kids disco clashed with dinner time so you cant really do both unless you wait until 8pm to eat. Would have liked fresh milk, they use long life milk for everything.

Overall nice hotel with kind staff and good selection as well as quality of food.

WiFi was not working in the room. There is no proper wellness as we know it in Central Europe. Bars and lobby could be functioning more in chill out mode and also their offer could be better.

Let down by poor food

Hotel and room were great and the staff were friendly.

Buffet was poor food not replenished. Was told no English tea bags available as they had run out. Very disappointed as previous reviews were very good.

Ridiculous policies regarding late checkout - only given 30 extra minutes and even that with such a hassle!

Beautiful hotel, nice room. Shower was a bit small.

Rude management who could care less about your business. I checked in after midnight and humbly requested a late checkout the next day since my car to the airport was coming at 1 pm. Staff said they could only give me 15 minutes extra. What?! I have never heard of this, and I have been staying at 4 and 5 star properties for years. For a room that Im paying 135 Euros for to stay less than 12 hours, its ridiculous that you cant give complimentary late checkout of 1 hour to accommodate your guest. The next morning I came down again and asked for a little longer, and they gave me 30 minutes . When I was checking out, the man at the front desk was shaking his head at me for being given the extra 30 minutes. Rude and disrespectful staff. They practically chased me out of their hotel. Not worth the money or hassle even though the view from my room was spectacular. Also all the channels are in Spanish. Couldnt figure out how to change it to English. Im staying at Soho Boutique Bahia Malaga for my return, and Ive been treated SO much better from the minute Ive walked in. Managers take note. Your attitude is directly related to the business yoir hotel brings in. Dont be a jerk or people will find a different hotel to give their business to. Oh and there is no comforter or blanket on the bed, only a thin white flat sheet. I was freezing all night long.
