Great stay with our travel group ranging from 18 - 89. The breakfast was top notch, service a bit brisk but its a hip h

Building was upcycled and bare bones modernist. The lobby was welcoming and unfuzzy.

The shower was a cubicle in the room, could use a comfortable chair and it was too hot - thermostat just wasnt working.

Hotel Daniel - 3 night family stay December 2023

Hotel is really well located, about 45 minutes walk from centre of the city, but just a couple of minutes to the tram and train service. Transfer to / from airport - approx 30 minutes. Right beside Belvedere, so easy to pop in for the tour or walk around gardens. Staff in hotel were very helpful and friendly. Receptionist was friendly on arrival, cleaning staff lovely when we met them each morning. We ate late in the restaurant one night, and felt very well looked after! Beds were very comfortable! Easy check in/ check out. Hotel room stripped back, and minimalist but totally adequate! Nice shower/ hair gel supplied and a good hair dryer. No iron/ kettle/ fridge - which you usually expect, but actually we didn't really miss them! If you are looking for high end luxury then this is NOT the hotel for you. If you want a comfortable well located hotel that is a little bit quirky, you will enjoy Hotel Daniel. Finally, it was more expensive than I would expect for this standard of hotel, but we stayed at a peak time over Christmas and price seems to be in line with others in the city!
