    Relatively comfortable but would not stay there again.
    The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, nice sheets, spacious room. Eggs and pancakes, made to order at breakfast, delicious cappuccino and brioche.
    There was a sewage smell coming from the drains in my bathroom. It was quite strong. A part of the shower door, was broken and unattached, the shower head was broken and did not go up, kept drooping and was below, shoulder height, the heated towel bar, was broken. Old rug that curled up, over which I tripped, more than once. Bizarrely, many, many sticks of incense were burning throughout the hotel, nauseating for some guests. The hotel needs updating, old decor. The hotel is a 4 star. It was probably this in the past but not now. The area it is in, a good 20 minute walk to the center of Turin, Piazza Reale, for example. The area was once grand but now, full of boarded up businesses and graffiti and next to a 4-6 lane busy road. I was warned by a local that during the day it was safe but to be very careful at night. For this I paid, over 190E for a single night, including breakfast. I was to stay a second night but changed my plans and left early.

    Good but Not matching photos and description of rooms
    The kindness of the staff. Trying to solve bookings issues, difference between the room photos and descriptions and what I got.
    I did not like that the room description had a balcony or terrace and instead we had roof windows only not even a regular window. The hotel staff explained that they only have 2 or 3 rooms with balcony. So why do they sell the other rooms at a higher price with balcony and then they are without. I payed more than the standard room only to get one of the least appealing standard room of the hotel. For me it is a matter of trust and professionality, you booking.com and hotels should not cheat good customers in this cheap way. Descriptions and photos must match if rooms with balcony are booked they should no longer be for sale on booking.com
