The bright and elegant non-smoking rooms feature a flat-screen cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom with bathrobes, hairdryer, and make-up mirror. Hotel Der Schmittenhof’s Mediterranean-style spa area includes several saunas and a herbal steam bath. Guests can use it on weekdays. International dishes, Austrian specialities, and fine wines from the wine cellar are served in the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy homemade schnapps and a healthy breakfast buffet.     Staff made the holiday season stay amazing!
    The amazing and warm staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was special. The first night we missed dinner and they prepared a cold plate for us. Every dinner we had special attention over the holiday season.
    Automatic lights in the ski room that the sensor was behind the door so when you were sitting down to take off your boots it would keep going off.

    Beautiful location. Wish I had more time there.
    Not the hotels fault but when I arrived I found that due to construction my whole reason for going to Zell am See was gone. I left early and didn't try to see the town.

    We are very disappointed that we had to pay the extra 124 euros before we left the hotel.
    We were given a bigger room than we expected.
    Your photos of the hotel showed sun loungers in the garden and cushions on the seats but there were none during our stay when we had sunshine. Our booking confirmation showed that city tax of 39 was included in the final price but we had to pay 44 euros for this at the hotel. In the hotel description on your website you say that the Zell am See/Kaprun Summer card is included in the price but we had to pay 80 euros to the hotel before we left. We think we should have a refund from yourselves for the above 2 items.

    The location of the hotel is quite good. You are situated a bit outside the busy Zell am See city center and close to the cable tracks leading up the mountains.
    The rooms were all in all quite small. This is not i a huge problem but the price therefore is on the higher side. Although I do think that Zell am See is more expensive than the surrounding villages. Rooms are also very noisy. You can easily hear the neighbouring room talk, use the bathroom, hear the TV. I think isolation can definitely improve.

    Plece was good in general with far bellow to be 4 star hotel .. it represent a small apartment without room service. Near to the center, quite, clean with very nice mountain view and high quality restaurant especially the dinner One person was very kind helpful professional ( Gabor )
