    Lovely old building with a very pretty, good sized room. Good food and staff.
    Great location and simple but tasty breakfast
    The shower cubicle was really small and the controls were crazy with jets and overhead and hand held. The floor was dangerously slippery

    Just about adequate and unfriendly.
    Location. Perfect - in lovely old part of Montpellier
    The check-in, on a cold, wet night, verged on rudeness. There was some confusion about another booking going on but... to be so brusquely dismissed and asked "do you or don't you" when I was deciding about breakfast wasn' t reassuring. The room was tiny, truly tiny. When I mentoned this at check out was tartly told that the room's dimensions were stated on site with which I booked. Indeed they were, I should have paid more attention. The dark pokiness would still have been a shock. There was no natural light to speak of - room opened into a high tunnel-like structure and even cranng my neck I failed to get view of sky. Breakfast was just adequate. No one said good morning, no one said cheerio or bonne journee - no pleasantness of any kind. I felt I'd come and gone like a ghost, unnoticed and unwanted. I think this hotel is coasting on the generally good reviews its had in the past.

    Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms! Definitely worth a visit!
    Excellent location in the heart of historic Montpellier. I could walk everywhere -museums, monuments, shopping and countless cafes and restaurants. My room was cozy, clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again!

    A charming traditional French hotel in a beautiful part of the city. From our balcony we could see La Coquille - a famous architectural gem set in the wall of a building opposite. It's a St Jacques shell to guide the pilgrims en route to Santiago de Compostela in medieval times.

    Breakfast, Hotel Design is very nice, location is perfect, next time we have to plan for more time in Montpellier
    Car parling instruction were not 100% clear, so we paid 44Euros for 2 days. We should have asked better
