    It was ok, but felt let down by the dog situation.
    Restaurant staff were very nice and helpful, couldnt fault them. Reception not so much. The hotel is very clean but very jaded in places. But thats ok.
    They allow dogs but not allowed into the restaurant. coming from London where dogs are allowed in most places, but to find your are pushed into the bar in the basement to eat off a low table on your own.

    Beautiful hotel room but for 300 a night it is over-priced and the restaurant is not up to scratch!
    The room was stunning and close to the city centre.
    The service in the restaurant was excellent but the food wasnt up to scratch. Tasted like pre-prepared catering rather than cooked to order food. So disappointing, that we decided to cancel breakfast at the hotel in favour of a coffee shop along the street.

    The lighting in the bathroom was far too bright. Good for doing makeup etc, but not relaxing for a bath. Better to have two different lights. IMHO.

    Well located comfortable hotel
    The room was nice with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is well located for central Cambridge and felt like good value for money.
    There is no parking at the hotel and no drop off area so you have to walk with your bags from the nearest car park about 10 minutes away.

    Location was good - a short walk to the city centre. The property was old but had character - the room was warm, spacious and cosy.
    Steps to the reception area from outside. Staff were not interactive and seemed inexperienced. The bath and toilet were raised up (care was needed getting in/out of the bath/shower).

    Good location in Cambridge . Comfortable rooms. Staff when we went for breakfast were very friendly.
    On our arrival in the afternoon the greeting from reception staff was quite cold and indifferent - not exactly warm and friendly . Although we hadnt booked breakfast we did in fact decide to have it - however 18.00 each for a continental breakfast where we had 2 small granola pots , 2 coffees and 2 croissants was not good value for money. The staff however in the restaurant were very nice.

    Nice old building. Bed was comfortable. Had slippers and robes. Nice extras like coffee machine, chocolate Lindt balls, posh toiletries to use.
    Expected a luxury bedroom. It was nice but nothing fancy. Stains on walls. Thought was getting a Stand alone bath in room as saw that on one of the photos but just had a normal bathroom with shower over the bath. Roman Blind on second window was broken.
