Our stay at Hotel San Augustine in Icod was nothing short of enchanting! Steffi, the owner, personalized our mornings with delightful breakfasts and invaluable local tips. The 18th-century architecture adds an elegant charm, and the hotel's prime location made it a stroll away from fantastic restaurants and local activities. Giovanna's warm welcome and local insights at check-in made us feel instantly at home. Traveling from the US, our entire stay was not just comfortable and safe, but filled with memorable experiences. Perfect base to experience Tenerife.

What a nice place to stay. We were looking for a real authentic location and this was such a place. In the middle of a small town with good restaurants in the direct neighborhood, you will find a good hotel with more than enough comfort and a good breakfast. The team is fantastic and will help you to learn more about Tenerife.

Giovana, on reception, was very helpful during our stay. Hospitality in the common area was very welcome as there is no tea/coffee making in the room. Breakfast was very good.

As a very old building converted into a hotel some of the rooms have only very small windows making them dark and a little musty. Piped music at all times in the common areas. Arriving and unloading luggage is complicated and has to be done at a preagreed time and car parking facilities are not close by. You need a pilots license to operate the shower which has a "joy stick" type control. Staying in Icod over the weekend means that there are fewer restaurants open and on Sunday evening virtually all are closed.

Staff was extraordinary, service was very thoughtful, room was ok, breakfast was good.

The patio, (breakfast area) was very beautiful and special. There was free coffee, tea, muffins, bananas and red wine outside the breakfast time, which is very thoughtful. The staff was extremely nice and gave us all kinds of information about the city and showed interest in our wellbeing. The hotel is a beautiful historical building. The chessboard and the reading area was very nice to have. The bed was really comfortable.

The room was poorly soundproof, we could hear our neighbors cough and walk around, which was a little strange. Our room was very dark. The only window was placed towards the corridor and so we had to leave the curtains closed. We hab no trash can in our room. The bathroom smelled a bit strange, but I think that it had to do with the sewer, because it was clean.
