    This traditional, family-run Tyrolean inn in the centre of Schönberg is located right next to the A13 motorway at the entrance to the Stubai Valley. Innsbruck is just 12 km away. Hotel Gasthof Handl (Read More) combines hospitality with the amenities of a lovingly furnished hotel.     A beautiful building, typically Austrian, filled with welcoming staff and serving delicious food.
    As our third stop over en route to Italy the location for us was perfect. The hotel was so welcoming as were all the staff. Our evening meal was delicious as in fact was our breakfast. Thank you shall stay again when in the area.
    Absolutely nothing. It exceeded our expectations so nothing more to say.

    The room was very spacious and modern Nicely furnished The restaurant for breakfast was cosy and a nice atmopshere The staff were all very friendly Ample onsite parking
    The breakfast buffet was fairly limited The children's play area was good to have onsite but a shame as it was very worn out- the seesaw (wippe) was totally broken and the sandpit had almost no sand in! There was a wasp nest next to one of our windows so we could not open that one at night There was unfortunately no fan and it was uncomfortably hot in late summer

    Located near Innsbruck only 20 minutes drive, in a quiet area. The staff was kind and helpful. There were enough parking slots available if you go there by car.
    The pictures did not reflect the reality. The pictures you see are totally different. The bed was totally uncomfortable, the room looked like nobody cleaned it, full of dust. There is a big difference between people staying one night vs. people staying multiple nights, as they can get the best room, while the others have to clean the room themselves and bring their own pillow.

    The place is great and also the employees. The toilets are separate from the bathroom, which is nice. The spa is comfortable but some equipment has not been started.
    The beds were not comfortable as the mattresses were too thin. The shower cabin cannot be closed: water will flow out of the cabin if you are not careful. The vents are too noisy. A bedroom lamp was not working.

    The hotel is quite unique with a wellness centre in the new extension. The family room has a separate area for the double bed though it is only separated by a curtain. The staff were friendly and I think if we'd been checked in by a different staff member then it might have been more informative. Free parking next to the hotel. The location is right off the main road.
    We weren't really given much information when checking in and only found more information in a welcome leaflet in the room when we were about to check out. The double bed in the family room was so hard and creaked every time you turned over. The double room was so small and dark. It was quite a let down compared to the more spacious family room. I believe it smelled of smoke as well. We know it was at the height of the summer but the price was high for a room without coffee/tea making facilities. Nothing much around, especially in the evening.
