Superb

Pleasant hotel with friendly service

Charming small family hotel, pleasantly furnished. Superb breakfast. Despite the fact that the restaurant was closed, they still provided us with dinner (we did request this in advance, but did not know then that the restaurant was actually closed, appreciated). We only stayed one night, so no idea how the area is for the rest, but the village looked ok.

La Fontana is genuinely one of those hidden gem hotels that are so rare.

La Fontana is a homely hotel, full of keepsakes, items of amusement and entertainment from a bygone age. The food was excellent, down to earth, honest food. No menu, you get what they are preparing, but it is good.

Leaving. Some people might not like the fact that there are no amenities within easy walking distance, but it doesn't bother me as my needs are few.

Jewelry box a bit far from the town

The staff and the breakfast were amazing. The host was very kind and made us a lifesaver espresso in the afternoon. The other day breakfast was as faboluos as in the pictures was, all the pastries were homemade. The design of the hotel is very cosy.

Approaching the hotel is a bit difficult, as the road is very steep, no activities in the neighborhood.
