I highly recommend this hotel

This was our first time away over the Christmas period. We were extremely pleased with our stay. The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and the food was excellent. The Christmas buffet was amazing, they put a lot of effort into it. I only wish the entertainment and bar had gone on a little bit longer on Christmas day. Apart from that, everything was excellent. I spoke to a lot of people who have been going there for the last 10 years. We will go there again next Christmas.

There were a lot of cocktails and spirits that were not included in the all-inclusive.

Perfect location and good buffet

The location is a perfect 5 minute walk and you will be at the beach.Small supermarket is close by.Buffet was good and room was clean.

The room where we were staying on the first floor was not having any sunlight. The terrace was useless without sun.

Excellent location and lovely staff.

Hotel was very clean, bright and modern. Excellent location and staff at reception were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was not great at all, very disappointed, selection at hot food section was lacking. Sausages were like hot dogs, scrambled egg wasnt cooked long enough, bacon could have been cooked longer, omelette, fried eggs and pancakes can be cooked freshly on request. Only had omelette and was still runny and not cooked. Cold section was wide variety. Unfortunately I dont think Id book again just due to breakfast. Also aircon did not work at all in room, it was ok because wasnt as hot, but in summer months you need it! Flies and mosquitoes were coming into room From vent in bathroom wall. we were covered in bites. No extractor fan in bathroom so made room very humid

- breakfast lacks quality compared to other 4* hotels in Lanzarote. Need little improve.

Enjoyed our first trip to Lanzarote. Overall stay was very pleasant indeed just lacked finesse,

I had a lovely piece of sea bass one evening and a very tasty chilli con carne. The fried eggs in the morning were delicious as was the bacon. The waiting staff were absolutely lovely. A special shout out to Daye, Besay and Jamma. Also Elisa on reception was so helpful and delightful to deal with. Our room was really nice and was very clean. Complimentary mineral water is a nice touch. Parking at the hotel was very easy. The pool and the area around it is really lovely. The snack/pool bar was really handy during the day and had a great selection of drinks and snacks on offer. The pizza margherita we ordered was freshly cooked and was absolutely delicious.

The food is okay but is not exceptional. There was a good selection of dishes but a lot of the meat was tough (particularly the lamb chops - actually not edible). Basically, the food lacks any sort of finesse. The little dessert cakes all tasted similar and the pannacotta was not smooth but had a rough unpleasant texture. A lot of the food was forgettable. There was a lot of walking around to find things. So a couple of questions would be: Why is the butter not kept by the bread station but over by the salads? Why is the ketchup not kept near the fried food such as the French fries and bacon etc.? Again this is over by the salad bar! Why is every dish not labelled? The selections that were, were random! Half the desserts had no labels. Why is ice cream not with the desserts but over by the salad bar? Why are there no milk jugs? I admit, these are small things but they soon add up when you're walking around searching for different items. Management need to eat in the restaurant themselves in order to get a feel for how it works. Also, for example, I would not want to be sitting at a table between the dessert bar and the salad bar - the people traffic between the two is not conducive to having a convivial meal and the tables are too close together. All dishes should have descriptions of what is in each one with allergens, such as gluten, nuts and shellfish highlighted on the labels. I did not see any evidence of this. The lighting is far too bright. It could be dimmed to make the restaurant more atmospheric. Tea lights would be nice. The bath towels had seen better days and the edges of some of the ones we had were literally in shreds. This is not good in a four star hotel! I'd expect to see some hand or body lotion included with the toiletries too. The armchairs in reception need cushioning on the back. My word, we sat back without a cushion and hit the back of the chair not expecting it to be so hard - it really hurt! That needs serious attention.
