Very good

good location - hotel has private parking. not recommended for big cars but i was able to fit in audi A7. but was quite difficult if you dont have much experience can be very tricky

during our one night it was quite noisy on the street during Christmas holidays. dont think it is often the case but still, if you want quite room suggest not to take one that has windows on the main street

A comfortable and convenient place to stay for a visit to the Christmas Markets of Colmar

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the free room upgrade and the sound proofing of our room to the outside. The location was very convenient to explore the Christmas markets and the old part of town on foot.

It would be nice to have the sound proofing of the room also inside the property to avoid hearing neighboring doors closing, people in the hallway, etc.

A magical stay in Colmar

The hotel was wonderful. Our room was super cozy. We had a view over the roof tops. The bed was very comfortable and big. The room had a feel of being in cabin. The breakfast was very good. The location was fabulous. Half a block or less from the Christmas markets.

I cannot think of anything negative. Our stay was fabulous. We enjoyed our time in Colmar and the hotel .ade it all the better.

Could barely sleep

The shower gel smelled nice and they had bathrobes.

Long story short, You could hear everything both outside and inside the room. The walls and the windows are really bad isolated. The first night was almost ok, I could sleep a little, but not all the night. The second night it was very noisy, almost impossible to sleep. The room was next to a parking lot. So, from outside you can hear: cars reversing, parking, engines running, trash cans moved from place to place etc.From inside you could hear: trollers, doors slamming, other people flushing the toilet. All of these happening both night and day. I wish I did not ignore the complains about the noise. The second night I woke up with a major headache and red, sore eyes because of the lack of sleep. It was that bad that we decided to give up the third night (losing more than 500euros in total), and they did not even ask why we left earlier.. They just assumed, did not care and take the money. Also, it was cold because there was cold air circulating from the windows(closed). The wifi is bad for those who want to mix working remote with visiting. The breakfast is way overpriced and poor in choices. There was no vegetable available. Not even one If you want to enjoy your stay at Colmar, just pick another hotel if you also want sleep. Or, try your luck, maybe they have better buildings, the one weve stayed in was not ok.
