Not bad for staying once...likely will not return

Good location which was close enough to the Kaprun/Zell am See ski areas, otherwise not much to do in Bruck. There were ample parking opportunities including a covered garage. Dinner was great (as opposed to breakfast).

Breakfast wasn't good at all. Scrambled eggs were okay, but as soon as a new batch was cooked, it was very quickly taken by the first 5-10 people who had been waiting in line. The next batch would arrive in 10 minutes. Even worse with hard boiled eggs, those were simply not available after 8 am. They said the eggs would come in 10 minutes, after waiting 15 minutes we left... Wifi was poor in the room.

Positively surprised

I didn't have very high expectations, judging by the comments of the visitors. So I was somewhat positively surprised. The room was clean. The breakfast was nothing special, but you could easily find what suited you. A big plus in my case was the fact that breakfast was available from 6 am onwards, as I went a couple of times to ski resorts that were a bit further away. It's also a good thing that there's plenty of parking for hotel guests around the hotel, and there's an underground garage, which comes in handy in winter, as you don't have to clean the your icy car in the morning. The staff was very friendly and competent. The price of the hotel is not very high compared to other hotels in this part of Austria.

In the villa I stayed in, you can hear everything from the next room. The towels have also had a long "working life", but they were clean, and that is what is most important.

Good weather and beer.

Not welcoming or helpful staff. No information. Breakfast adequate but very badly presented. We ordered a la carte evening meal which was bad. We were here som years ago and the standard has dropped on all accounts. Disappointing stay.

Nice place were to stay overnight before going to cross Groglockner pass.

Groglocknerstrae was wery noisy. A lot of motorcyclists were passing by.

Nice place near the start of Grossglockner.

Postiive experience, mostly. Clean and functional room (w a bath!). Everything worked. Good location close to start of Grossglockner strasse. Breakfast was good w eggs n bacon. Internet worked and was fast.

Reception lady acted surprised and annoyed that I had arrived. Then asked me if I had 'just booked' (I hadnt, i had booked in the morning). Maybe it was a language misunderstanding. But not a very welcoming checkin experience. Also, asked for a 'peaceful room upstairs' (for which I got a confirmation from booking.com), but then when I arrived, I got a room in a building down the road about 100m and . . . .downstairs in the basement! Anyway, it was indeed peaceful so worked out in the end, was just annoying.

Superb

Great stop in case you want to visit the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

The hotel looks as advertised. An old hotel which gives you the wanted Austrian vibe. Price is very reasonable. Breakfast was included and it had everything you need. We couldn't use the pool because it was pouring rain which was a shame. I would definitely recommend!

OK if your first concern is price

Good value and good location

Somewhat tired 19th century hotel. Breakfast - stained tablecloths, poor quality coffee automat. stale bread with no tongs so people handled it, clear your own table. Room hairdryer not working. Less quality hotel - more YHA. You get what you pay for.
