Really good location: metro, food market, brasserie.. Personal was helpful, nice and always smiling.

Towels were terrible. Someone used my booking of this hotel to fraud me on money, therefore Im not sure if the hotel was careful with my personal data.

Superb

Very nice and cozy hotel. The building is old but was not a problem for me. No bed bugs, checked the room carefully. The staff seems to take good care of the cleanliness. Will definitely come again.

Narrow spiral staircase and no elevator might be hard for some people.

not a pleasnt stay

good wifi close to the metro station, yet not very safe.

the neighborhood didnt feel very safe, on the weekends it does feel safe and there are a lot of people in the area but the in the weekends it feels a little uncomfortable as it is a back road and not many people pass there. I didnt feel safe to get back there at night. there is a pub right next to the hotel..so if noise bothers u or u r a light sleeper it can be an issue. the room is spacious but on the other hand the facilities are outdated, the walls are very thin walls and so I could hear everything that is happening in the other rooms. the other problem is that main tubes pass through the bathroom and so u can hear when people flush the toilet or take a shower, the pipes are extremely noisy. if that wasnt enough the door is very noisy so each time someone opens/closes the door u can hear them.. it felt like if i was out of the room and in the corridor sometimes which made my stay very hard especially at night. the guests who are staying werent very pleasnt but that isn't the hotel's problem.. yet, i would expect from the hotel to take care of that especially after mid-night. i emailed the owner about a problem, you'd expect an answer shortly, but he only answered after I left. the sheets had holes in them and the blanket wasnt clean..with stains! :( as the chairs are in the lobby. lastly, when u ask your room not to be cleaned because u dont want your things to be touched, u expect it to be honored..which obviously wasnt.

Definitely would return!

Fantastic value for money, private toilet and basin was a bonus for us as we were expecting fully shared bathroom facilities. Great location in Paris, very close to the metro. Staff are there 24/7 even over Christmas. Housekeeping even continued over this time. Flexible check in was provided even when we didnt ask. Room was warm and comfortable. Soaps were provided.

It wasnt a problem for us but we noticed that sound really travels through the property so if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep in/go to bed early, it may not be for you. Also not a problem for us but something to be aware of is a steep spiral staircase so large and heavy luggage could be challenging to manage.

Wonderful location with everything you need

Location - amazing local area (no tourists!), many food options, grocers, bakeries, supermarkets, and a surprise farmers market which popped up. Hotel staff were fantastic and there to support you 24 hours. Loved the coffee machine at reception every morning
