    Excellent location for a first time stay in Funchal
    Hotel located in the centre of Funchal - minutes from the cathedral and the promenade.Pleasant helpful staff and breakfast was ok.Close to Hop on Off buses.Airport bus is stop 7 and it was 8 euros return which is excellent. Late checkout 12.00 midday.
    Junior suite did not look like the photos - it was definitely dressed for the photos which was a disappointment. Balcony was tiny and there was no real view (2nd floor) so maybe a higher floor would be better. Tiny bathroom No coffee or creamer - just tea which seems strange in a coffee drinking country.

    Can improve in some points, but overall very pleasent! Would recommend
    The location was just amazing. At the very center of Funchal. Quick access to transports if needed as well, very close to a mall, restaurants and touristic places.
    The rooms could be more modern and well decorated, but otherwise it was comfortable and clean.

    The location of the hotel is great on the city centre. Very central and walking distance to many of Funchal attractions, restaurants and shops. The breakfast has a good variety and the pool area is also a nice plus to relax after a day of visits. The staff at breakfast and reception were very kind and helpful.
    The room we stayed is dated. The furniture and room decoration is a bit oldish. The cleaning of the room was done with bleach and there was a very strong smell in the room when we arrived. There was also an issue with the drains of the bathroom in our room and we had to keep the door closed all the time due to unpleasant smell. Attention should be paid to maintenance.

    value for money and the best location in town.
    Excellent 3* hotel, Location in the Old Town was perfect. Very friendly staff, even willing to help with booking Island trips.
    The music during breakfast was a bit boring, something we call "lift Music" :-) Luckily it was not very loud...

    Everything as expected.
    Good location. The room was clean and had a courtyard which was really, really nice. The noise isolation in the room was excelent. I did not hear any noise during the night. We used the pool and it was very nice as well.
