    This hotel could not be more delightful! I was happy to discover the old world charm, the comfortable, clean rooms, the excellent breakfast and the superior, helpful and incredibly kind staff.

    I enjoyed three days looking around Lucca and the hotel was suitably located.
    I liked my room and the traditional decor. Lots of hot water. The dining room was full of old fashioned decor but felt very comfortable and created an historic atmosphere.
    Cant think of anything specific.

    The perfect location in Lucca to stay and explore the city, lovely hotel and lovely people.
    Wonderful staff at hotel, Paolo, Roberto & Mario - looked to help us with everything they good from booking restaurants to organising taxis and just making it a very friendly place to stay, Martin & Carmel, Ireland.

    It's a place that really cares about you.
    This small hotel is the perfect place to stay to experience Lucca, a real gem of Tuscany. The rooms are quiet and comfortable yet within a 5 minute walk to the center of activity. But the service really made our 4 day visit memorable. A minute after we arrived and realized that my wifes purse had driven off with our taxi, Paulo was on the phone to the taxi company and within minutes was talking to the driver about when he could swing back by. He was also helpful with recommendations for sites to see and restaurants to experience. But we were in Lucca for a wedding to be held in the countryside. And when the day came and we couldnt get a taxi (due to an exceedingly busy weekend, this was a problem throughout the city, even if you tried to reserve a day in advance), Gabriele moved heaven and earth to find an alternative and got us to our destination on time, in comfort, and stress free. It was far above what was expected.
