    Comfy hotel overlooking beautiful square
    Hotel is at a great location, lots of restaurants right underneath the hotel. Has a beautiful terrace for drinks.
    Our room was right next to the reception and terrace bar, which can get quite noisy with people coming in and out of the bar.

    The breakfast and the bar staff. Very welcoming and helpful
    The room wasn't very clean. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Very uneven. There should be a major renovation and update on mattresses. The price should be much lower for the kind of rooms offered.

    Super disappointing based on previous reviews.
    We loved, loved, loved the location. The room was lovely and the Loggio was INCREDIBLE with gorgeous views.
    The staff at the front desk. They were harried and busy all the time checking in people who were going to the rooftop bar. We saw this all throughout our stay. On our first day, we weren't even greeted with the most basic, "Hello, welcome" when they realized we were here to check in. We were greeted with a "Wait one moment" and were not asked even the basic questions of how was our trip or travel as they were checking our passports and noticed we had traveled from CA., USA. They seemed bothered to have to deal with us. In fact, it was my husband who started with the pleasantries (which is bare minimum in the hospitality business). He was the one that said "Hi and how are you today". They also messed up our dinner reservation and conferred among themselves instead of taking the extra step of calling the restaurant. Additionally, they charged us for cappuccinos mid morning after the espresso machine was broken and we had no coffee with breakfast. When I asked if they could comp that considering we didn't get with our breakfast, they said "No, it's not the breakfast time and you must pay".

    We loved Hotel Palazzo Guadagni, especially the beautiful terrace and breakfast!
    Our room was very large (could have used a bit more furniture). We had a balcony overlooking the square which was lovely. The bathroom was clean and bright. And the terrace for breakfast was our favorite. The views were better than expected. And breakfast was vast and delicious with lots of options. what a beautiful way to start each day!
    the rooms could use a bit more furnishing/art. and cozier more elegant bedding. but we really enjoyed our stay.

    Beautiful and historical hotel in a central location
    Such a beautiful property. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. We had a small balcony overlooking the square. The location was perfect for walking to all the major sites. We also used e-bikes and scooters and there were many around the square. The Loggia bar and breakfast were lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. The square had lots going on including farmers and flea markets during the day and live music at night. We loved it! Would stay again.
    It does get noisy at night and in the morning being on a main square. The property does everything they can to help mitigate this with reminders posted about closing the shutters tight and ear plugs provided for each guest. It didnt bother us but if youre early to bed I could see it being an issue. Perhaps ask for a room furthest away from the square when booking.
