    Absolutely stunning views. A beautiful hotel to stay for a few days and relax! It was so nice to have a private swimming area for the hotel only. It is about a 25 min walk to the town, lots of stairs and hills. We would stay here again!

    Lovely location on a private bay with plenty of loungers, though possibly too far out of Hvar town (25 minute walk) for some people. Very helpful and friendly staff.
    The owners have just let things slide at this hotel. It is somewhat tired and in real need of a refurb. Various things were missing from our room or didn't work (eg the electronic safe, barely any sockets) and no in-room information was provided about the hotel, the island or excursions. Breakfast definitely wouldn't win any prizes. This place could be a little gem such a shame!!

    The staff was extremely kind, the hotel is located about 15 min walk from the town centre and it offers everything you might need for your stay.

    A very nice stay
    All was great in the hotel. Special the staff and more than anything the reception girls were awesome. There is a lot of outdoors to do in the hotel which if you are not in the mind to go sightseeing you will enjoy.
    Maintenance to the gym is needed. I tried to use a running treadmill and it will stop all the time. The maintenance came and told me to unplug it and plug it, which I had to keep doing through the space of more than 45 minutes and then the machine stopped completely. Maintenance guy didn't want to do any effort to asses what I was explaining to him.

    Really nice spot at Hvar!
    Our view from the room was definately a very important point, from the bed, looks like you are floating up the sea. The hotel has an amazing restaurant, we had a lunch and a dinner there, the food was delicious and the waiters are very kind. They also has a beach bar that we took some drinks on the beach, very comfortable. The location is very nice, because its not that close to the noisy center, but you can reach by car in 8 minutes or walk for 20 minutes.
    The hotel has some spaces that could have some remodeling, like the gym, the spa..

    With some modernizing, updating and better attention to detail this hotel would be exceptional.
    The beach and pool area are the real stars of this hotel along with the incredible view. We loved the fact that the beach was private we could always get beds and the ocean was directly in front of the hotel for swimming and sunbathing. Amazing!
    We were mis sold our room, I paid extra for a larger room in the annex but we were put in a standard double. We mentioned it and they moved us to a slightly bigger room with a bigger balcony and bathroom BUT the shower constantly dripped badly (we did mention it but no one came to look) and there was a very scary looking patch of black mould on the ceiling from a leak above. The hotel looks tired and needs updating, but they were at the end of their season so maybe this is to be expected.

    Wonderful five days at a superb quiet hotel.
    The staff were terrific. The food was brilliant and our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is fabulous: youre a 20min walk away from Hvar in a quiet, serene and lush haven with its own bit of coastline. We swam in the sea every day and at Hotel Podstine there are several quiet areas overlooking the sea where you can relax and have a drink. The whole place has a variety of shrubs and trees which add to the feeling of calm and tranquility.
    Ok, there were a couple of issues. Our shower head had come away from the wall; a couple of sockets didnt work (including the fridge) but honestly, it wasnt anything we felt like complaining about. The room was quite superb, with a beautiful view: it was clean and very quiet.

    Best location and great facilities and staff for a fun trip to Hvar!
    Incredible location and the staff was so helpful and kind. Great bar, lounge area on the sea, and large comfortable rooms.
    Some of the amenities like robes and towels could use a refresh.
