    Nestled between the magnificent mountains of Grindelwald, Hotel Restaurant Alpina is situated above the village with views of the Eiger Mountain, being very close to the Railway Station. All rooms b (Read More)oast picturesque views over the mountains. They are spacious and decorated with wooden elements. The homely restaurant serves delicious French and Swiss specialities, rounded off with fine desserts. Vegetarian meals are possible. The Alpina has a large garden where you can unwind, and the rustic lounge room is a cosy place with amazing views. The area around Grindelwald offers many ski and hiking tracks as well as viewpoints like the Sonnenbalkon First, the Kleine Scheidegg or the Jungfraujoch. The impressive glacier is worth seeing. You can also explore the glacier gorge.

    Would stay again if I come back. Lovely hotel
    Lovely friendly staff. View is AMAZING. Just off the main street and train station, which was fantastic, no noise heard from the streets. Dinner was tasty.
    The hike up the hill to get to it was killer but a good workout haha breakfast was ok

    An absolute wonderfull hotel and definitely on my shortlist for a next visit to Grindlewald
    The proximity to the train station and downtown core, the friendliness and efficiency of the front desk, the size and cleanliness of the room; the view accros the Eiger Wand from the room balcony, the complimentary breakfast,
    The rather steep incline from the station to reach the hotel from the station on foot

    The view from our room was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning scenery was a highlight of our trip.
    We brought many large suitcases along a very steep road, it would be much better if there were accommodation assistance. Additionally, we also hope for a more varied breakfast menu.

    Super and clean room in Grindelwald!
    Great location, near with the station/public transport. Amazing view, great breakfast and free car parking. Good wifi connection and of course friendly owner n staff!

    there was a construction going on outside the balcony of my room. you need to walk up a short slope to reach the hotel.

    delightful. I would recommend this hotel to visitors to Grindelwald
    Check in, room, view from the room, comfortable.
    Some mold on the ceiling in the shower. I reported this to the front desk.

    They have wonderful breakfast and those serving are very nice and efficient. The front desk are also all very helpful.
    The location is very nice and near the train station. The problem is the steep slope going to the hotel if you have big luggage.
