    Beautiful views!
    Location was beautiful, with a view of the lake. Room was big enough for 2 adults and 1 child, bathroom is spacious.
    Noisy heater in the room. Breakfast options are few but not bad.

    Room under the roof, lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast on patio, wide choice. good restaurant. Parking was easy and free. Bathtub. easy to get to Lucerne and other attractions.

    It's all worked out in the end
    Maybe not the fault of the hotel but I booked as a wheelchair user and when we arrived the room provided was not appropriate. The owner was able to move us to a family apartments which was great. I checked back on the booking.com website and it clearly shows that Hotel is promoted as being wheelchair and accessible in all rooms. This was not the case. We were lucky and alternative room was available. Having said that the views are magnificent and we really enjoyed the meal that we had in the restaurant. Compared to the offerings that we had had in Germany & Italy the value for money could not compare but I guess that comes with staying in Switzerland.

    Amazing view. Comfortable stay.
    The view is stunning. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the lake, can highly recommend! The hotel is located up a very steep hill which is stipulated by the hotel when booking. It is well worth the walk though. Room was very clean, spacious. Air con unit was strong. Lift to get to the upper floors. Breakfast wasnt great for us, its a basic continental but wasnt replenished so we ended up not eating anything. The view is stunning though. I would recommend but if you dont have a car I would recommend a taxi from the train station.

    Has great elevated position overlooking lake Lucerne. Free car parking. Room had good sized balcony - great for relaxing. Double bed with split duvet & great pillow -very comfortable. Flat screen TV (guide stated various channels but signal wasn't working) Room had mobile air conditioning unit - was great as was very hot. Only down side - it was noisy. Bathroom a little dated but had all that was needed & toiletries. Free tea & coffee on top floor - help yourself. Excellent food in the restaurant. Continental buffet style breakfast. Both breakfast & evening meals could be eaten out on the terrace with great lake views. Gabriela in the restaurant was particularly helpful & friendly.
