About This Property

This hotel is located right in the city centre, just 2 minutes walk from the main square of Plaza del Charco and in the shade of Mount Teide. This hotel is centrally located not far from the heart of puerto. Rooms are basic but clean and well appointed. We didnt have a sun facing balcony which would have been an extra bonus. There is a microwave and a fridge in the lobby. No cooking facilities or food provided.

The hotel did exactly what it said on the tin.

2 star hostel actually, which gives you strange vibes

+ microwave oven and fridge at lobby

- inside museum from 1960's which has been tryed to refurbish with orange paint in bathroom for example - I made one day before statement when I will arrive (2pm) which they accepted, still no-one at front desk and doors closed... strange - scenery from windows is some other properties "drying sheets" practically - outdates and rotten furniture at so called rooftop terrace - at room 206 u could hear washing machines working

Unexpensive option for smokers close to the bus station

Hostel was really close to the main bus station what was a great advantage, especially when you gonna use buses often and you wanna find a seat in them. Meals were amazing - it was served in a **** hotel around 200 m from Tejuma, so it wasn't very problematic. Staff was helpful, even if some of them wasn't speak english.

Smoking in a hotel - it wasn't the newest place so it think it probably remembers days when smoking inside rooms was legal, so now the rooms smell of cigarettes. Even now, probably because of this smell, in around half of rooms people were still smoking what was very irritating for none-smokers. There are a lot of signs forbidding cigarettes in a hotel, but it doesn't working. So if you don't like smell od cigarettes it's defenietely not a place for you. Water in a shower was barely flowing.

Good for a short stay

Big room and good location. Everything was clean and functional.

Reception is always empty. Had to call when I wanted to check-in. Had to call again for the check-out and I was supposed to just leave the keys at the front desk.

Superb

Fully satisfied.

Good location and service for money. The staff is very kind. Couple of minutes from the center of Puerto de la Cruz and from the nearest beach.

No possibilities for cooking food normally and breakfast included option is pricey.

The price is good . The location Is excellent . 5 minutes from the town . Its an old hotel . And the decor is the same . There is still..an old exchange system in the foyer which gives it character I think . When you saw the staff always polite . You get 2 keys . Because if the hotel is full they lock the front door . 300meg internet . Room service or half board available if you want it for around 15 euro a day from its modern sister hotel which is a short walk away. This includes room service if you want it . I quite like the old world decor . I knew daily the maid came in made thr bed and mopped and ensured everything was in place . Old hotel . Authentic to the feel . Staff brilliant and by use of the intercom . Can talk to some one .
