The sun roof is just great! And the location is the best. The cleaning staff was SO nice us. Thanks Very smart, little kitchen hidden behind cupboard doors. Neat.

Hotel Tropical has their reception TOGETHER with the ParkPlaza, and it's kind of hidden. We had to ask to find it. To get to our room on in the Tropical, we had to go up one level (elevator or stairs) and the go a weird route through the Park Plaza building and over to the Tropical building. There we took another elevator to our room on the 5th level. If you have the slightest limp, this is quite a hazzle. The rooms in The Tropical have very narrow balconies with too big furniture. At least get a smaller table! AND we had cockroaches in a drawer in the kitchen.

In general, despite the 2 indicated shortcomings, I was satisfied.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, attractive way near the ocean coast for evert day walking, beautiful view from the window, nice pool.

Terribly loud music from the nearby Chinese restaurant. It was possible to sleep only after midnight. Very poor insulation in the room. The night porter promised to wake me up at night to take a taxi to the airport, but forgot. I might miss the plane. Fortunately this did not happen.

A wonderful place to stay.

A friendly welcome by the hosts a quiet comfortable room, private bathroom, a kitchen with all I needed and a balcony with a perfect view. A perfect place to stay.
