Hotel is at great location and close to Beach.

Room is too short for long stay. But it is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good with more options.

Safety and security is not upto my expectation. I lost around 250 euro from the hotel room. Someone took it.

Urgent need for renovation: - old interior - chairs and armchairs worn out - mattrasses sagging - cupboard hard to open/close - no gym / equipment removed to an empty room

Excellent for elder care.

We've been coming to Puerto de La Cruz for nearly two decades now and this time we wanted to bring an elderly relative whose mobility isn't great. We usually self cater away from the centre but the Vallemar was perfect for her. I'd highly recommend it for anyone worried about bringing an elderly person.

I was disappointed with the buffet. We had used full board in Puerto de la Cruz before and the range was usually a lot better, whereas the Vallemar had a very pork orientated offering. The pancakes were good though but missed more fresh veg.
