Disappointing

I liked how the theme of the room and the hotel but it didn't follow through on the theme, I don't imagine gods zapping lightening but there should be an option ti make the room a bit lighter as settling on a specific theme defeats the purpose of getting customers if you only attract who you want to. The theme was really nice

The lighting and the lack of windows restricting accessibility by blocked the room off giving it the illusion of being really small which it was. Not sure about the more deluxe room but this is what I know from my stay, the covers were too heavy and the shower water would run through to the main floor outside the bathroom. Would not say worth the money, sold reputation higher than objectively valued. Not wanting to be mean but felt sold short on the price relatively to experience inbalanced ratio.

Superb

Great experience to stay here.

Staff at the HOG are really lovely and approachable. Room was cosy and interestingly decorated. We enjoyed the buttons for fizz & cookies that were included on our locked up package. This place is an experience in itself.

Place is a bit dark - but thats how it is intended to be. Wasnt overly clear what was included in the room - E.g. the minibar and snacks.. however we didnt ask either.

Very good

Lovely hotel, better mattress needed...

We really liked the dcor of the room, liked the location and enjoyed the breakfast hamper.

Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfortable at all. The mattress was way too hard.

Exceptional

Fun, cosy visit. Quirky hotel, great extras.

Quirky decoration, great shower, comfy bed, unexpected extras (Prosecco on arrival, 10 bar tab). Welcome was very warm and enthusiastic. Property was lovely, the cabin rooms are small but we knew this, and it didnt matter because it made it even cosier. Most of the staff were very friendly.
