Very good

A useful overnight stop with secure parking

Location very good, staff helpful, room decoration lovely Good breakfast Parking good though pricey Nice bedding Slept well We didnt use the spa

No food was available in the evening other than pre-made in jars which was a surprise for this price of hotel No kettle in the room but there was a coffee maker with only two capsules and no milk option

Overall a great stay and would recommend to friends and family

We loved our stay here. It genuinely felt like we were swept into our own private castle plus we met a super cute dog that lived on the property. The breakfast was amazing and we were always served with a smile.

Just be aware that there is no kitchenette in the rooms

The perfect romantic getaway and start to our vacation in France.

Everything was wonderful! Starting with the exceptional staff! The location is incredible, not to mention the hotel atmosphere, luxurious spa, hotel pets, table games, wonderful breakfast, bar, view, bathroom in our room and a very comfortable bed. Thank you!

Loved the access and view for the fortress, liked convenient parking, loved 24 hour bar, and helpful staff

Great location, spoilt by experiences that could have been avoided or improved

The location is excellent, as was the pool facility. We didn't use the spa but it was good to have it there. The breakfast was also excellent.

The welcome from staff was poor - all of them around the reception desk leaving us standing awkwardly and not greeted; not a friendly reception. Later on however, individual members of staff, including some of those huddled at the desk initially, were pleasant and friendly. The room itself, a suite, was disappointing. It had a pull out sofa, presumably for use by families, but no small table, no comfy chairs, no decent tea making facilities, just a coffee machine that did odd flavours, and there was the constant sound of gamelan music from the spa next door. Almost worst of all was the music in the bar and outside area, which was loud and the two areas were all the time playing different tracks! If you were seated in the area between the two the effect was very disconcerting. We enquired from the staff who said they could do nothing about it! If we had paid less for our stay we might not have minded all this so much, but our expectations were high and these things spoilt our experience.

Pleasant stay right across the old city.

It was easy to access the hotel. Although we arrived late, there was a person who helped us check-in, park the car and even made us dinner. The hotel is right across the castle, which is a big bonus, because we didn't have to walk much to access the old city. Breakfast was served at the table by two lovely ladies. They were very welcoming and helpful.

Our stay was enjoyable, the staff were helpful. Nothing to complain about.

Very convenient for the city, parking is easy and secure. Rooms clean and quiet , AC works and staff friendly. Decent but shaded pool area

Exceptional

Wonderful stay with amazing facilities and very friendly staff

We come to Carcassonne every year for the Convenanza festival so it is a very busy time for the hotel and it is a very popular destination to stay and also after the festival for drinks. The staff are so friendly and professional and are always smiling to ensure our stay is pleasurable. The hotels is also located very closely to the castle with just one set of steps before you get to the entrance. I would highly recommend this hotel!
