    Would definitely recommend
    We got a room upgrade, which gave us loads of space and a really cool private balcony. The bathroom was also big. Good central location to restaurants and the beach. Owner gave great recommendations for places to eat. Quite for a hostel but there was things going on if you felt like sociable.
    Nothing. Would love it if there was a pool but for the price we paid and the beach across the road its not necessary.

    Great place. I was there for christmas. The owner Odi organized a Christmas Dinner, so nice. Met there a lot of nice people, enjoyed spending time with.

    You will stay longer than you planned!
    A charming host who set such a good vibe, very social, very chill, very nice hostel in a great location! And the food was absolutely delicious!
    Theres nothing to complain about.

    The relaxed and social vibe was great as a solo traveller, right on the Main Street close to ATM, supermarket and restaurants. A very clean hostel with washing machine free of charge.

    Enjoyable social stay
    I loved my stay at the Hummus Hostel, the location is perfect across from the beach and close to a bus stop. We stayed in a dorm room which was spacious, clean and comfortable definitely one of the best rooms weve stayed in during our trip. Theres a welcoming social seating area with super comfy chairs, various games are available toofood is served on an evening which is just delicious and a highlight of the stay! Mr Hummus and his staff are the best

    Super friendly hostel close to the beach
    The property itself is really nice and super clean. There is a great communal area to socialise with other guests and the staff are all lovely. There is also a restaurant downstairs that serves really delicious food. The location is perfect, seconds away from the beach!

    Quick stay but very comfortable and convenient!
    The staff was friendly, there is a touch of "home" in the hostel. It has very nice wide spaces, comfortable rooms! I got me a nice balcony :D Oday was extremely friendly, helped me get medicine when I was getting sick, and gave a few indications for cool places around! The location was very convenient and accessible from the main road.
    Nothing worth mentioning at all! Just a general recommendation for traveling in Sri Lanka, close the windows to avoid insects/mosquitos!
