Recently refurbished but a bit overpriced budget hotel. Hard to get from highway during rush hours

Standard Ibis Budget hotel, recently refurbished with friendly receptionist and safe parking

Very hard to get from highway during rush hours, choked with cars and bumper-to-bumper cues. Overpriced for what offered with room a bit noisy, located too close to road (traffic starts at 6.00 am). No decent restaurant/brasserie around

Budget means "budgeted service" in all areas, literally.

The check-in process using the Booking.com reservation number failed. Nobody picked up the emergency phone. Finally we were not able to enter the hotel and had to find an alternative place to stay for the night. The following conversation with Ibis Budget to clear the situation was absolutely dissatisfying and Ibis Budget was ignorant. Finally Booking.com accepted our complaint and refunded the money with apologies and an offer to reimburse our extra cost also (an option we did not use as the alternative hotel we have found in the night was way nicer and had a nice bar helping to overcome the frustration)
