    A fabulous break, totally relaxing!
    The hotel was amazing! The setting was superb, the grounds were immaculatly kept, the staff were all pleasant, from the reception to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was eaten under a pergola filled with grapevines, the food was homemade and delicious.
    Maybe a lounge area, to sit if the sun wasnt shining.

    I would like to know in advance if I have to pay extra for pool towels or that eggs over easy aren't included in the so called breakfast included at time of booking the property.

    Apart from the above, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Grounds & pool area excellent
    The breakfast was the least satisfactory aspect, but this is not uncommon in Italy. There was limited choice, often little fruit and anything cooked cost extra, which is franly mean.
    Our room was somewhat disappointing. It was described as a junior suite with private pool. This turned out to be a large sunken jacuzzi in the middle of the room. We only used it to shower and, had we known, a superior room with sea view and balcony would have been better and cheaper.

    nice peaceful place to relax in Tropea. expect higher prices at property
    beautiful pool clean spacious rooms.
    prices were high at pool restaurant and they charge 15 euros per beach towel which should be included. you could easily buy the towel for that price.

    Nice place to stay in Tropea, specially if you want to be at the poolside
    Very nice grounds, and wonderful home made breakfast! The room wasnt what we booked, it was quite a bit smaller and with a not too functional Round Bed ! Ceiling too low on one side that you kept hitting your head if not careful ! Location ok, but if you had a car a little away from Centro Storico ( Historic Center)of Tropea
    The Round Bed! Awkward!, low ceiling on one side of the room !

    Beautful property was difficult to access Tropea on foot
    The property is very well kept, the rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is good. The pool is lovely. The staff is kind.
    It's far from town and you can't safely walk to town - you have to walk on the autostrada for a good stretch. Also there are almost no sidewalks. It's a stretch to call it a resort - reception is gone by 6pm. There's no restaurant on the property and no grocery or market near it. You really have to have a car to stay here.

    Wonderful time at a beautiful place.
    The location of the hotel was away from the city but close enough to take a taxi. We did have a car and there was no issue coming and going. They have an amazing pool area that was comfortable and calming. The grounds were lovely and the rooms were cozy and modern. The breakfast was fantastic with a great assortment of specially prepared foods, pastries, and fruits. Eating under the arbors was quite relaxing and a great way to start a day. Manuel and Frederica and the whole staff made us feel like family rather than guests. e truly enjoyed our stay and will recommend Il Borghetto Romano Creative resort to all our friends and family.     Romantic, serene and beautiful hotel run by the lovely Romana family.
    Fabulous people and facilities. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely pool and pool area. Morning breakfast was superb and very nice location amongst the grape arbors and gardens.
    Its a fairly step walk from parking to rooms. However, Manuel helped us with luggage.

    Memorable for the right reasons!
    This is lovely family run hotel and you can tell the staff really care. They were so welcoming and friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The resort was so tranquil, it often felt like you were on your own! If you like peace and quiet then this is the place for you! The rooms were beautiful, clean and modern and the grounds were outstanding. Amazing pool!
    It was a fair walk into Tropea Centre. We spent quite a lot on taxis to and from but this is no criticism of the hotel! If you have a car or a scooter then no issues!
