Very disappointing stay overall sadly.
Firstly no number on the property so it took time to find, thankfully the owner was able to send a Google pin to show where it was.
On the first morning when wanting to use the microwave there was mouldy food found inside still in packaging, on letting the owner know they said it was 'out of character for the cleaner' and apologized.
It was terrible weather when we were there which couldn't be helped but on the 3rd night after the rain I was woken up to water coming through the lights in the main bedroom onto me and the bed, I sent a video to the owner and they replied in the morning to say they will contact an emergency roofer to come look at this. I was not happy when the owner then said they had given out my mobile number to the roofer to contact me, this should not of been passed onto me as I am not the property owner and it should of been the owners responsibility to communicate with me and the roofers about a time to visit the property to look at the leak. Because of the leak me and my partner had to sleep in the twin bedroom in single beds, the one mattress was very uncomfortable. We were thankful that we had the option of the spare room though as if there was more of us that would not of been possible and we would not of had anywhere to sleep due to the leak.
On the last night at the property we had a knock at the door with a gentleman there to hand bedding to us? He said it was for the cleaner. Again this was not professional and we were not informed that this would be happening on the stay.
On our last morning the roofers turned up to the property unannounced so we were quite thankful to leave at that point.
