Beach view from the room!

The location ! Beach views! Walking distance to local shops and grocery stores. Staff are friendly Comfortable stay for a night or two.

Building interiors need an upgrade and the furnishings. Some people staying there are long term.

Enjoyable experience by the Ocean

Location- steps to the ocean and beach. Ocean view from room. Friendly staff. Meeting Friendly people who were also staying in the hostel. Smart tvs.

Low staffed, as there was nobody in the reception office. Door was closed with a number to call but someone was always there. I guess they only have one or two persons run the whole hostel. Which seems cheap because Hermosa Beach is an expensive community - nearby food is at least 25-30$ per person, so be prepared for that.

Clean Beds and Bathroom. Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in LA. Staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit. Free coffee and breakfast as well.

So nice and I want to stay here again next time.

I arrived at the hostel around the time it passed 1:30 a.m., but I could check in because the office was still open. The staff were so kind and helped me call a taxi, and before check out, I could have free breakfast, which made me satisfied so much.

It's little difficult to find the place.

Almost on the beach, I had an ocean view, clean and new showers, they had some breakfast also.

If you want good sleep this is not the place, it is a really noisy place because it's upstairs of many bars and restaurants. Some of the staff were super friendly but others didn't even say hello

Amazing value for money

Amazing location, could see ocean and beach from the room. On the pier. Staff really nice and friendly. Breakfast options were nice (toast with jam/peanut butter, eggs, pancakes, coffee) In reception they have earplugs and sunscreen left by previous tenants in case you run out of yours.

On the weekends noises were very loud. It does say in the description that it will be loud, they do not lie xD have earplugs (can ask from reception too)

Worst hostel experience

The poor girl working trying her best to help guests <3 my refund being approved

The hostel is directly above a nightclub on the strip of bars - the building vibrates with the bass. The place is old and dirty. The dorms are small and smelly. Toilet doors dont lock. Live-in staff are loud, drunk and vomiting (Halloween weekend, but still) No nearby overnight parking.
