Exceptional

The homestay is about 1Om by tuktuk from the centre which is good as the center of Udaipur is too busy. The rooms are simple yet comfortable. Above all what makes your stay is the friendliness and helpfulness of people. The family that owns the place are very kind, welcoming and took very good care of us. They even prepared the breakfasts after having checked our preferences the day before. They also suggested restaurants, and others, and were helpful with organising transportation. There is a spacious terrace on top of the guest house with a good view. A great place to read a book or else.

Mediocre Stay

1.Room was big. 2. Host speaks good English.

1. No geyser in bathroom for hot water, so hot water not available in morning at all and for first few days in evening. 2. Breakfast is restricted to two items with limited quantity. 3. Hospitality is not upto mark and no proper service,just sweet words by host Shakti. 4. Unpleasant behaviour of co-host with the guest. 5. Unkept and uncleaned room after check in, no change of towels on daily basis, neither cleaning of glasses. 6. No housekeeping on daily basis. 7. Once during our stay requested Shakti for Jam, however Shakti didn't bought the jam, saying Jam not available in market, however i got same jam in market at much lower. 8. Regular drinking water provided instead of Bisleri mineral water.
