    Lovely Hotel, Bari Old Town is a short walk.
    Great location for the New Year's Eve celebrations going on in the hotel and the rest of the city. The staff are really helpful and always greet you with a smile when you pass through reception. The veiw from the restaurant and our room over the coast is fantastic at midnight on New Year's Eve because you can see the whole city light up with fireworks which is one of the best firework displays I've seen. The rooms are modern in style and kept very clean.
    A couple of minor things that are no fault of the staff or hotel. On New years Eve, I bought a Half bottle of champagne without knowing the price. It seemed a little expensive at 65 but it is a 5-star hotel, so I should have expected it really. An additional packet of pringles appeared on the mini bar on our 2nd day, but I thought nothing of it. I had had the small bag of local biscuits when I first arrived. When I checked the Pringles packets, I found one of the packets had been opened and almost emptied and replaced as if it hadn't been opened. Once again, it's not the hotels fault and it was only 5 so no problem.

    There is no Cofee machine during breakfast and you have to ask for Cofee - so... it takes time and is strange.

    The staff were very professional. The rooms were kept clean.
    We could not plug the kettle into the wall from the table. We had to put the kettle on the floor on the other side of the room. The Mini bar fridge outer door opened one way & the inner door opened another way (very badly designed). There was no ventilation in the bathroom. There were no drawers to store clothing. The breakfast was over-priced at 20 as there was a very small selection of hot foods. There were many cakes however. The minibar was also over-priced, 6 per pack of pringles!!!

    The hotel is exceptionally located and, although being an historical building, renovated recently: comfortable beds, plush pillows and duvets. Our room was not very spacious but we had chosen the standard one. Very good breakfast and the restaurant is also good with a spectacular view. Personnel is very nice and accomodating. Perfect place for visiting the city since it is halfway between the historical centre of the "citt vecchia" and the modern shopping area around via Sparano.

    Great spacious deco styled room in great location.
    Great location to explore Bari - I walked everywhere. I used the train to see more of Puglia, and a booked tour for areas off train lines. The sea view was bonus, and the promenade a pleasant walk.
    Breakfast was expensive, so I utilised the town's several coffee shops for this. The second floor had nooks and crannies, so I had to carry my luggage up and down stairs ( and walk these stairs for each lift trip )The fitness area is also very small and open, but the pool area was lovely, even in the evening, as the pool was heated, and provided an occluded view of the promenade. I didn't find the staff overly helpful, but they had a local map, which I could put together with my own notes.

    I would not stay in this hotel again, especially for the price.
    The location of this hotel is amazing, right along the lungomare in Bari. The breakfast room was on the rooftop, so the view was amazing.
    The hotel lobby was very dark and small, as were the hallways.
