    Perfect choice for your Koh Tao getaway
    I stayed in Tropicana for 1 month and I was really happy about my time there!! Its right on the beach, close to all the wonderful restaurants and bars, yet away from the craziness of Sairee beach. I had my own wonderful bungalow that was cleaned every 4 days and the entire territory was really well taken care of. The highlight has been Mr Won and Mrs So who were extremely friendly and very kind people, willing to go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable, always with big smiles on their faces!!! I highly recommend staying there, its also very close to Jonhs Viewpoint, Freedom Beach and Shark Bay (for snorkeling to see baby sharks and turtles ) and the best bars with most beautiful view points on the island - Secret Bar & High the Moon. Another cherry on top: just outside the resort there are yoga classes 4 times a day so you wouldnt even need to go far to keep in shape! And make sure you book your diving course with the Ocean Sound and have dinner at Ying and Yang- best restaurant out there! And grab a cocktail at Koppe bar :) Enjoy your stay in Koh Tao <3

    The bungalows are good value, on the beach and the manager and tour booker are lovely
    They are very understaffed and you spend a lot of time waiting for food, to book a tour, to get stg fixed in the room. They ate lovely but they need more staff, thats it.

    After one night in this hole I checked out to another hotel and I had to forfeit 1,000bht to the manager to get some of
    Nothing good to say about it. I didnt like it one bit
    The deluxe room wasnt anything like the online photos. I was put into a Standard room with No air conditioning, not a glass in the room, no water bottle and a dirty sweep fan on the ceiling that only circulated the dust on the blades. The manager thought I wouldnt notice the downgrade of my room because there wasnt a deluxe room available for me. I wouldnt even put a backpacker in that room

    I was booking room with a hot shower and with sea view but when I arrived they gave me a room without hot shower and sea view. When I asked them they only changed my room. In the new room they gave the door was not opening properly and tap under the sink in the bathroom was dropping water all the time. Also when toilet paper finishes they do not give a new one

    The girls at the reception is really nice, she lets us do an anticipated check in. The room was quite big. Far from the noisy part of the island but where you can still find some shops and restaurants. The garden is beautiful.
    The shower wasn't working well, the water has not enough pressure.

    Basic, worth money. Clean, friendly staff. Own small beach but not good at high tide. Many restaurants and massages nearby. Also laundry is easy to find. You need motorbike to get around the island. I guess they rent bicycles but the island is very hilly. Free water bottles every day. Good wifi at restaurant area.
    Pillows were quite hard for us. Wifi reached our room only sometimes.

    All was great, I had a wonderful time! Very nice beach in just a few steps, calm area, everything nearby. Tropicana had many bungalows and rooms to choose from. Wan is a fantastic host :)
