    Location was great if you want to stay put... but don't stay if you want to travel Amalfi Coast!
    loved the location, loved the view, loved the terraces, loved the coffee and pastries
    loved the location but proprietor claimed we could take a boat directly to Capri (that is the reason I booked) ....when we arrived he said that it was too windy and never helped us with any info on getting a ferry from other nearby locations (nor was he that helpful in general).......therefore we ended up driving inordinate amounts of time and distance.....also restaurant was mediocre...

    The location is simply amazing. From the road it looks just like a small restaurant but there is a whole hotel built on the mountain. Try to travel with small suitcases as there is no elevator and a lot of steps. Not very suitable for people who strugle with going up and down stairs. If the see is stormy you won't be able to swim because the entrance to the water is carved in the rocks and it could be dangerous. The owners and people who work there are wonderful, trying to do everything they can to make guests feel comfortable.

    Best host, best value for money, the place to stay In Amalfi (and between Positano)
    The hotel is the best on the Amalfi coast, we believe so. From value-money viewpoint undoubtedly, though. It has direct access to the sea, which is a unique feature in its category. Lots of beautiful romantic terraces. Nice little pool. And the owner, and the stuff they will do absolutely anything to make you feel good. Practically cook the food for you you agree on. For us vegetarians that was a total bless. Will definitely return. BTW, dont miss the Gods Path trail, you can climb up to its start right from next to the hotel.
    Some rooms might not have direct windows facing the sea, but if you just leave your door open the view will still be yours.

    Just amazing! Views were fantastic, staff was very friendly and very enjoyable stay.
    The location was perfect. The hotel was between Positano and Amalfi. We traveled from Salerno to Sorrento over the 4 days we stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views were exceptional as well. A great place to relax.
    Being this was my first time to Italy, I was just a little disappointed with our room. A little outdated and small and we had no windows as it was an interior room. However, the view right outside our door onto the patio was amazing. I just wish I had a view from the room. If I go back, I would most likely stay here again, but request a better room.

    Magnificent views and memorable stay
    The staff here is amazing. Luigi and Luigi were so kind and accommodating. The restaurant is very good, the different lounges and terraces were out of this world beautiful. Both Luigi's made this stay for us, they were so friendly and always eager to help. We parked the car here for a minimal cost and never had to move it. And of course, the views are magnificent.
    The hotel is a bit of a ways from Praiano, but the good thing is that the staff was always happy to drive us the short distance to the bus stops (for trips to Positano or LaPraia) to avoid having to walk along the road. Aside from that would definetly recommend.

    Loved the place and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to all friends.
    Breakfast was excellent, location was prime, and the view was exceptional!
    How small the road is getting there. It's made for only the experienced drivers.

    The view is great! You could jump in the water from the hotel, which was nice and fun.
    Room is old, Air conditioning started to drip water in the floor after leaving set @ 18 degrees, I had to turn of to stop that. Outside areas are not clean, and there are sugar ants everywhere outside. There was a really bad smell outside our bedroom, not sure if it was a dead animal or something else. Food and breakfast were ok. But food was overpriced in my opinion.

    Amazing stay in the most stunning setting
    Everything!! The owner Luigi and everyone who works there is always smiling (Luigi, Salvatore to name a few). Besides the most unbelievable views from the rooms (to die for) and the street level delicious restaurant, the property is in an ideal location between Amalfi and Positano (away from the crowds) with easy bus access right down the street. Also has direct sea access. You can stay there easily and not leave
    I loved everything !

    Beautiful property set right into the rock. The owner of the hotel is lovely and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay! The pictures of the pool dont do it justice, its small but you can still cool off and it has a great view over the ocean.
