Pathetic hospitality

1) Hefty advance amount sought much before the actual booking dates (almost 50% amount is asked as pre booking , even though we had booked cancelable rooms on booking.com) 2) No security on property at night - guests themselves opened the gate and entered/closed the gates. Anyone can enter in the property. 3) No rules on smoking in front of other guests' rooms. The only way of ventilation was the window and if someone smokes outside the window, how will the person inside the room be comfortable? After requesting to stop people from smoking, owners said they can't stop other guests from smoking. 4) Unleashed dog was more of a scare in the guests' premises. 5) Deceptive pictures of the room on booking.com : All the pictures shared on the site are of cottages, one gets the impression that all rooms of the property would be cottages. However, they have two sets of rooms, some are cottages and some are non cottages. 6) Pathetic Treatment of guests: - No support in moving the luggage even when they noticed that some elderly female guests had to lift heavy bags to distant rooms. - No transparency regarding house rules, chased guests to wash tea utensils during the check out time. - They treated as if they are running a charity and the guests are living for free - No basic etiquette of welcoming the guests. 7) Lack of transparency on the website about the available room amenities. 8) No co-operation by the staff in case of emergency medical issues 9) Water supply issue : - Was not able to even take a shower during the entire stay after paying so much for the property. - Water-tap was leaking in one of the rooms ( please refer to the picture attached) 10) Room rent is way higher than the available facilities. One feels cheated after staying in their rooms as they charge a hefty pre booking amount and there is no going back after you actually witness the misbehaviour and lack of co-operation by the owner who runs this homestay.

There is cockroach like insects were present in the room . Also there is no lock for toilet. And the bedsheet they provided is a normal one. Not quilt. And also felt dust smell in the bed and Pillow. Also there is no view

Very good

The most attractive part of La Maison is "Mico" the wonder dog. He is active and lovable. He will be there to greet you whenever you go out and come inside. Facility wise home stay offers good attractive rooms with traditional values. Rooms are affordable, but for the rate they charge, some more facilities can be offered like TV, pool etc. Altogether a good experience.....

Its mixed feeling, rooms are good but without basic necessities like tea/cofee its not worth

The room is really good and clean.

The property care taker did not bother much about guests. Their is no tea / coffee available at the property. Food also we had to go near the beach to order it, water bottles to be filled by Guests from reception. No details on geyser and its switch mentioned anywhere. Simple manual could have helped for the guest.
