Good

Very friendly staff and comfortable, albeit small, room. Bar was very nice.

A bit further out than we realised, so its a drive into town unless youre happy to eat at the hotel.

Disappointing

Very Disappointing

The location of this accommodation is fabulous. I was meeting friends for a meal at the 2 mile Bay Sailing club which is just a few minutes walk from the accommodation. The front entrance is impressive and makes you confident you have made a good choice. The reception staff were very friendly - another tick.

I'm afraid that is where the positives end. The bedrooms are very tired and certainly not worth what I paid, albeit a premium time of year. The room 'felt' dirty. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and covered in mildew and the exterior of the bathroom window covered in grime and cobwebs. I even went to the trouble to look outside the back of the building to see if maybe the windows were hard to access. They weren't so it was clearly just laziness on the part of maintenance staff. There was also a lot of rubbish- used takeaway containers etc, around the back - clearly visible from the external (only) stair access and not a good or inviting look for guests. All the fittings were dark and dingy and the curtains had come away from a couple of the hooks securing them to the rail. The TV set screen was really grimey The whole place was very disappointing. I politely reflected my disappointment at checkout and the reception lady (lovely) told me they were in the process of doing the place up - this maybe so, but it needs much more than a lick of paint and the current state should certainly be reflected more realistically in the price.

Great location, but whole room should do some renovation to match with its price.

Great location

The hot water was out of order when we showered during night time. Hot water in sink seems working fine but the flow was very low. Lucky it was during the summer time. The whole configuration and bed should upgraded as well as the bathroom looked renovated.
