    Great food and paradise beach
    Breakfast was very good and there was a variety of different dishes with an opportunity to order freshly made pancakes, eggs, etc. Prices in the restaurant were fair even though more expensive than in the centre but drinks were a bit expensive. The staff was really nice and helpful. We loved our bungalow, there was enough space for storage, a little fridge, balcony, the bathroom was pretty and had both a shower and a bath, and was cleaned every day. Two pools were great as well, offering a view at the sea. Bamboo beach is beautiful and not crowded- it is very southern so not many tourists get there. We also saw monkeys, burde and other animals. Using a kayak is included in price and there is a nice beach with a bar 20 minutes away. Renting a scooter was a great and cheap option, but you have to be careful cause there are a few hills before you get to the centre. It was also the only option to get out of the resort, go to 7eleven or some other restaurants. There is nothing within the walking distance. Overally, the place is beautiful, with great ambience, delicious breakfast, tasty food in a restaurant and a beautiful, romantic beach.

    The only slight minus was the location. On one hand it is good because it's beautiful and not crowded but you also have to rent a scooter to get anywhere.

    Enjoyable stay at a beautiful location
    The location is amazing. The rooms are quite good and the beds are comfortable. Food was tasty.
    Prices are a bit high, not only for the rooms (which is okay due to the special location) but also for all other services (e.g. laundry: 80 THB compared to 40 THB in town) are up to 100% more expensive offsetting the price-value-relation.

    If you want to stay in a low key place that feels like it is run by a family this is the place.
    Really secluded and lovely people who worked there, the dogs and cats were all in great shape and the owner Na Rathep was lovely.
    Nothing it was perfect for us. However it is at the southern most trip of the island so having transportation would be helpful.

    Relaxing, enjoyable few days in a beautiful place with everything we needed.
    Lovely thatched roof bungalow. Excellent restaurant where food could be eaten overlooking the beach. Really helpful and friendly staff. Two good swimming pools.
    No complaints at all!

    The resort is located totally in the south @ bamboo bay. Easy to find by gps. We came with scooter from saladan pier. Long way to go, but it was clear in the beginning. Super friendly staff at the pool/beach bar. Reasonable prices for drinks and food. Beautiful pool and beach area with sunbeds.
    The room smelled bad. We didn't use the aircon a lot, as with it, it even smelled more. The mosquito net was way too small for the bed, so we couldnt use it. The safe was closed and we couldnt use it. Breakfast was nothing special, we only took in once, the 2nd day we went out. You can order "all u can eat" style from a menu. In general the resort has a nice set up, but with some small changes, they could make so much more out of it!

    Four beautiful days swimming in the ocean and walking on our nearly private beach.
    La Laanta is on a small beautiful beach and the only other resort on the beach is closed. There was a herd of cows that traversed the beach each day. The staff were all friendly and attentive.
    It was a long (15 minute) ride to the nearest working atm. First world problem, right?
