    Great Location, Great Building, Great Rooms, Great Staff, Great Food.
    I have stayed at Lanes a few times. Different Rooms each time and happy each time. For Hotels around the Yeovil Area Lanes is the best for sure. I would and do recommend it. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and chatty.
    As I have said, I am happy with pretty much everything. All I would like to see changed/upgraded is the tech in the rooms. I had Room 1 this time (Penthouse), a lovely room. However, the TV was very dated, small, and only viewable from the Sofa. As such, for ease, I used my iPad. To be fair, this is the new norm nowadays. Although I like to connect my phone or iPad to the TV or speaker to play music, This is becoming more and more common in hotel rooms.

    Excellent stay in a lovely hotel
    Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly.
    It was really noisy on arrival as a Christmas party was taking place - it was a bit of a shock!

    Great stay sort out shower then I would say spot on
    Good breakfast location was spot on the room was spotless very clean y the only thing that let it down was the shower really hard to get in and out and couldnt move the shower head which meant the bathroom floor would get soaked enough if you put the shower mat down

    Exactly as described. Modern rooms next to an old vicarage, comfortable clean and lovely staff.
    Friendly and helpful staff.
    Restaurant lacked atmosphere, but the food and staff made up for it. Very warm rooms at night.

    Fabulous
    Everything. Very impressed. Every member of staff was polite, very helpful, and couldn't do enough to please. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were large and comfortable and very warm, didn't need to turn on the heating, and had windows open throughout the night (in November!). Food was gorgeous and well presented, and I can't fault anything or anyone. Will certainly visit again.
    There is nothing to dislike. Everything was great. If i had to find fault, it would be that there should be a warning on the hot water taps as the water was extremely hot. (But that would just be me nitpicking)
