    Very intimate vibe; clean and great location
    Great location; super cute rooms. Very intimate feel. The staff was nice. The room was unique and offered a great view of the lake.
    Only small complain was that the shower pan didnt drain well.

    Nice hotel, a bit different but wont be staying again.
    The location was perfect for the lake, bars & restaurants.
    No tv in room No tea & coffee making facilities in room. No privacy when using the bathroom as has a badly fitted sliding door which was half glass-may as well had no door!

    Characterful property in a perfect location
    Weve been to Annecy previously so we knew how beautiful the lake is. Disappointingly, our room which was advertised as lake view was actually canal view . Having said that, the canal view wasnt too bad once my wife and I got over our initial disappointment. The property is advertised as NOT having a TV or a fridge which is a pretty basic feature of most hotels, so that was a minus. We know its marketed as boutique, but no need to skimp on the basic comforts. Whilst it was a lovely old building, the wooden floorboards creaked very loudly with every footstep, probably enough to wake other guests because the internal walls were paper thin. Lastly, the furnishings are spartan and the curtains were barely hanging on, so need replacing. Having said all that, the hotel was full of character & charm, the staff were wonderful and walking the streets of Annecy is a sheer delight (as always).

    Lovely room, friendly and good value
    We upgraded to a lake facing room which was worth the extra cost. Large room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. AC was a blessing in the 38c heat.
    Breakfast was a little expensive at 18 for a typical French offering (pastries, meat and cheese). Smokers on the table next to us. I know it's a French thing, but why not have a smoking area?
