Lovely hotel set in beautiful tree-shaded grounds studded with fountains. Nice, clean room, helpful staff. Good food and a nice bar in the gardens.
It's a ten minute walk into the centre of Aix, but we knew that when we booked. Not really a problem.

A very friendly, opulent hotel, in a good position for the walk downhill into the city.
Everything was very comfortable and we felt fully looked after, despite the weather (pouring rain).
The restaurant was excellent - but we could not afford to take dinner there for both nights.
A bonus was being able to see Mont Sainte Victoire for a gazebo in the grounds - and the rain kept off then.
All great.
