Exceptional

You will sleep in paradise!

The receptionist was super friendly, and the fact that he spoke Italian made me feel immediately at home! We appreciated the tasty biscuits they left for us in the room the day we arrived to wish ''Merry Christmas'' :) The location was great, and the bed was super comfortable. We visited as much as possible during the days and we were super tired, so trust me if I say that you will sleep in paradise! Overall, everything was great and I would like to come back again ;)

No value for money. Even getting a bottle of water is difficult

No tea, coffee or water was provided. When asked at reception, I was directed to housekeeping. The housekeeper refused straight out. When o went back to reception they didnt understand. Rooms weren't properly cleaned daily.

Decent staying overall

Very friendly staff, clean room, decent hotel, good access to old town. Private parking for 15 euro if it's available. If not, there's a parking place nearby for 6 euro per day. Be sure you put the ticket on the dashboard.

I would have liked to have a socket and lamp on both sides of the bed like other rooms have. The surroundings of the hotel are deplorable with a lot of filth and spaces left in disrepair, full of rubbish

Avoid if possible

- Mold in the bathroom - (Blood)stains on the bedsheets - the old elevator scares the hell out of you - The location is horrible. Right in front and next to it there is a huge vacant area which is inhabit by the homeless. There is trash everywhere in front of the hotel and the morning view outside of the window is not very pleasant. Further: if you're a female solo traveller avoid this area.

Easy to walk to city, small but clean rooms, good shower, very extensive breakfast.

Twin beds were a bit narrow, the area is fine but looks like its in process of being renovated.

Had its good and its bad.

We liked the room. It was pretty spacey with a pretty good bathroom for the money. The bathroom sink was excellent quality. The room was for the most part very warm and the heating worked throughout the day without problem. Finally, the staff was the most excellent part of our stay. As well as the breakfast was good value for the extra money.

So, the room had one stain on the curtain. Generally it felt like it wasn't the cleanest. The carpet didn't have any bad smell and there was a lack of dust around the place, but the more hidden places were forgotten. The bathroom knobs and sink were coated with limescale. The biggest flaw of the room was in its beds, a double room is not a twin room with the beds next to each other, but presumably this isn't something that the hotel took into account and thus our night sleep was some of the most uncomfortable ones I've ever had on a double room. The beds also had rollers on them so they kept splitting up. It might make the room easier to clean but it also makes the beds a pain to sleep on. Finally the area the hotel resigned in was not the best. 5 minutes from the center in paper sounds excellent but around the hotel there were two abandoned buildings ravaged with trash and they seemed like the homeless attraction of the city. The hotel is also very close to the red light district so keep that in mind if you are a night type of person.
