Superb

Haven of peace and tranquility on the Kerala backwaters.

Staff were welcoming and very helpful, particularly Richard. We stayed in the Heritage Wing and loved the room and the large veranda with great views of the backwaters. I was able to sit with a cup of tea and watch white-throated and stork-billed kingfishers, oriental darters and the usual egrets and herons fishing. Food was easily ordered from the excellent Lilliput restaurant and breakfast was tasty South Indian and varied each day.

I stayed at Les 3 Elephant nearly ten years ago and loved it. It felt very much the same, but I think more effort needs to be made into clearing the rubbish from the backwaters next to the property, replacing broken lamps and doing more planting. The path from the new Heritage Wing also needs some paving stones. These though are small aspects to work on. The place remains lovely and relaxing and the staff are brilliant!

The calmness in that place, the decor, the ambience, excellent service by the staff especially Rishad, the exclusive area for yoga and meditation, truly kept near to the nature, scenic view of backwaters ...Altogether its a gem.

Has a water view .

Road to the property very narrow No sign board on the road while other properties do have . The sign board in front of the property is also very small and not visible at a distance Bathroom and the wash basin very close to the bed . This does not go well No restaurants near by Complimentary break fast is not at up to the standards Totally not good for the value paid
