    With a cliff-top location, and private access to the secluded Livermead Sands Beach, the family-run Livermead Cliff Hotel offers far-reaching sea views from its mood lit terrace seating area.     Nice comfortable stay.
    Room was immaculately clean with a view sea facing. fabulous. Breakfast was good with a large selection of cooked, continental, fruit juices and cereal. Meals in the bar were good quality and reasonably priced in the current climate. Staff were brilliant and accommodating when my wife became ill. Thank you everyone,
    Room was on the small side.

    My daughter and I had a lovely weekend in Torquay, sadly it just wasn't long enough.
    The staff were all very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and had we chosen a room with a sea view, the view would have been wonderful.

    Lovely place to stay
    The location of our room (76) was amazing. The view was to die for. The room was large with plenty of storage but the shower was a dribble and the bathroom was a bit tired. As was the rest of the hotel. The lift was interesting and terrifying. One of those cage lifts which we were convinced was going to plummet to the ground. (It didnt)! The staff were fantastic. They couldnt do enough for us. And the food was good too. The hotel could benefit from an update but I would definitely stay here again.
    Its a little tired. And the beds were a little hard for me. But I do like a soft bed.

    Excellent staff and a very pleasant hotel
    The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very well presented with many choices. We had dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and the meals were delicious. We choose a room with a bay/sea view and it was definitely worth the extra charge.
    The lift is quite antiquated (with scissor style gates) and it was claustrophobic. Really only big enough for one person and a suitcase.

    Excellent room and sea view. Breakfast. Very helpful staff on reception. EV provision (Pod Point)
    It was an extremely cold night (-5c), but the water in the bathroom was at best lukewarm. Not sure why - the radiators were very efficient.

    The location was great, lovely walk into Torquay, easy access to the train station. Lovely views
    I went for relaxing little break to see friends. At the hotel I wasn't told about the weekend music and dance event, I was given a wonderful sea view room, but it was above the dance hall/event. (So didn't get alot of sleep) That was my ONLY issue, other than that it was lovely
