Lloyd's Baia Hotel

They didnt read my message, hence they were not aware about my request: it was my anniversary so I asked for a nice set up, furthermore, I advised them I needed a cot for my baby. I choose a room with a bath, but then there was only a shower, because they said the picture was only to show the style of the room. They moved us in another room, but before to get in the correct room they send us to the wrong floor. After going up and down we finally got in our room, but it was very warm. We asked twice to put the temperature down, but they said the problem was because the hotel was exposed to the sun all day, thats why it was so warm. Its a bit weird as we are in the middle of winter and I dont think its that hot. Anyway the stay was not that bad considering the price, but I dont think we will come back.

The second night of our stay, starting at 11pm is where things went bad. My husband and I were in bed sleeping, and all of a sudden there was really loud music that started blaring from the onsite night club. I mean, this music was so loud that it sounded like the party was in our room. I immediately called down to reception to asked what was going on and that I had just been woken from sleep from really loud music. They apologized and said that there was a scheduled party happening at the onsite night club from 12am to 5am and there was nothing they could do about it. They offered to have me move to another room at 11:30 pm (a room that was also a downgrade from the suite that I had paid extra for) and the room they offered was also closer to the party, so Im unsure why they thought this would be a good solution. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that the manager was at the party, so he was unavailable and I would be able to talk to him the following morning at 8am. My husband and I were awake from this party until after 5am, I have never had such a terrible night in a hotel. We slept in a little the next morning because we were up All night because of this party and missed being able to go out and explore the area before we had to be at our scheduled train departure. When I went to speak to the manager the next morning, I was told that he was not in and I could not speak to him. I was also told by the staff that I would at least get a discount on my room for that night because of the problems. I was told that the manager would phone me the next morning and come to a conclusion for this. I never have received a phone call from the manager, but he did send me one email telling me that there is nothing he can do to compensate me for my terrible stay. I have emailed the manager back saying that this is not a satisfactory solution and I still have not heard anything back.
